Papers and code

Only a real link is a link

Titles below are the titles used in the program materials or, for the preprint, the title on the author’s ORCID record. Where no file or stable URL was supplied, the page says so in words. Nothing here is a button that pretends to download.

Preprint

The Digital Judiciary: Binding Precedent for Automated Compliance Decisions

Arun Kadambi and Venkat Kuppuswamy. SSRN preprint, DOI 10.2139/ssrn.7194698, as listed on ORCID 0009-0006-4003-0484. This is a different title from the dissertation named on the about page.

The dissertation title in the program materials is The Digital Judiciary: A Framework for Governing AI-Produced Code Changes and AI-Made Decisions. The SSRN record uses the title above and names both authors. Do not treat them as the same document.

Counts in that paper’s own abstract are not repeated here, so they are not mixed with the later prototype checks on the evidence page.

Described, without a public file

Workshop paper · described 6 November 2026

Filters and Standing Shape the Data: Selection in Legal Decision Corpora

Arun V. Kadambi, Venkat Kuppuswamy, and Sarah E. Ryan. The November 2026 program site calls this an accepted workshop paper at DMAIL 2026, the Workshop on Data Mining and AI for Law, IEEE BigData 2026, Phoenix, Arizona.

No PDF, DOI, or archive URL was supplied. Acceptance of that paper, as described, is not an endorsement of this website or of the governance prototypes.

Manuscript

Enterprise Conscience: agent alignment with enterprise values

Title as listed on the November 2026 program site. No public manuscript and no editorial decision are linked. An October 2026 deck says a conceptual Enterprise Conscience paper was ready for Philosophy & Technology. That sentence is not matched here to a URL or to a decision, so it is not shown as a status badge.

Manuscript

Institutional design for agentic change in enterprise software pipelines

Title as listed on the November 2026 program site. No public manuscript is linked.

Manuscript

Case-base formation and precedential constraint

Described there as formal theory of which decisions should bind as precedent. No public manuscript is linked.

Manuscript

Who Decides? Exception governance for AI-produced software changes

Described there as a practitioner survey on who should approve exceptions when agents write the code. No instrument, response count, or public manuscript is linked. The home page therefore does not quote recovery rates for the four exception questions.

Manuscript

Enterprise Conscience and Digital Judiciary benchmark

Described there as preregistered simulation results comparing governed companies with conventional change control. Confirmatory numbers are not posted. The calibration figures on the evidence page are the figures the November 2026 site already printed, and they are labeled as calibration.

Unmatched status lines. The October 2026 deck also says the dissertation core is four papers and that a JURIX 2026 paper was under review. It does not name that paper. This page does not attach “under review” to any title above.

Software

Research prototype

DigitalJudiciary

The program materials describe a reference implementation of the three offices, an Enterprise Conscience gate, simulated companies, a year-long simulation harness, conformance and mutation suites, and an installer that checks a build. The author’s public GitHub profile is github.com/avkadambi. It does not list this project.

The path github.com/avkadambi/DigitalJudiciary returned HTTP 404 on 6 November 2026 and is not linked as a download. If the repository is private or has moved, a public URL has not been supplied for this site. No Zenodo DOI and no documentation site were supplied.

Version labels disagree across sources: the August 2026 deck says v5.6, and later website text says v5.16. Neither label is adopted here.

Preregistrations

Enterprise Conscience fast-track simulation: one business year

The November 2026 program site describes this as registered on OSF and embargoed, with hypotheses, seeds, margins, and analysis frozen before confirmatory runs. No public OSF URL was supplied, so none is offered.

Selection by standing in ECtHR decisions, 2023–2025

Described there as a preregistered follow-up and as the code and data archive for the DMAIL workshop paper. No public OSF URL was supplied.

Slide decks

Two decks informed this site and are not posted for download:

  • The Digital Judiciary, research program proposal, Arun Kadambi, August 2026. File title in the PDF metadata: DJ_research_program_summary.
  • Agentic AI Governance Program, Digital Judiciary and Enterprise Conscience, Arun V. Kadambi, University of North Texas Information Science, October 2026.

They stay off the public site until the author releases them. Posting either deck would also mean deciding whether draft version labels inside the slides should be left as historical slides or revised. This website does not rewrite those files.
